I didn't start traveling extensively until later in life. In 2016 I took my first trip to Europe, to London and Paris, and a month later I planned a last-minute getaway to the Amalfi Coast for my husband and me. Since then I've planned a European adventure nearly every year for my family and myself, exploring Spain, Greece, Germany, Belgium, Ireland, and the Czech Republic, along with countless domestic trips and road trips.

In the fall of 2025, after a 35-year career as an HR and Labor Relations executive, I retired and decided to turn my passion for travel into a business. I spent the next twelve months preparing to launch MBARK TRAVEL. I started late in life and learned plenty of do's and don'ts the hard way, so now I can help you skip them.
